Tri Fold Card

Choose 1 sheet 8 ½ x 11 sheet of card stock and a coordinating sheet of Designer Series Paper.

You will also need a neutral piece of card stock for inside of card and greeting on front. 

 Choose a piece of neutral that coordinates with your Designer Series Paper.

Cut Cardstock that you are using for the card body long-way at 5 ½”.  

This should give you a piece of cardstock that measures 5 ½” x 11”. 

 ALSO cut another strip long-way at 1”; giving you a piece 1” x 11”.  

This piece will be used for the belly band of the card.

* Reserve the remaining card stock for embellishments. 

Taking the 5 ½” x 11” piece for your card body; score each side at 3 3/8” (short side);

 this will leave you a 4 ¼” section in the center. 

Cut your Designer Series Paper at 3 1/8” x 5 ¼” (you will need two pieces)

 careful that you are cutting paper in the right orientation for the designs.

Cut your neutral cardstock 5 ¼” X 4”

 *Leaving the reserve for stamping the outer greeting. 

Choose your Greeting and stamp on neutral cardstock;

 using coordinating INK color;

 use framelit of choice to cut out greeting with the Big Shot. 

Stamp inside sentiment with same ink color

 on the 5 ¼” x 4” neutral cardstock for inside of card. 

Now you are ready to put it all together!

Fold card body on score lines.

Adhere the Designer Series Paper to the front of the “flaps”. 

 ***Using one side of DSP for the front

 and the opposite side of DSP for the inside. 

Adhere the inside sentiment to center panel inside card body.

Using the 1” x 11” strip; 

wrap around card and secure two ends with tear n’ tape to create belly band.

(optional; wrap polka dot ribbon around belly band and secure with a bow.)

Adhere GREETING cut out with the Big Shot

 to the Belly Band only with dimensionals.

Using the reserve of cardstock body cardstock;

 punch out two butterflies.  One large and one small. 

Using a scrap of coordinating card stock  or DSP  punch one small butterfly.

Add rhinestones or pearls to main color small butter fly center

 and adhere to Greeting with mini dimensional.

Stack remaining two butterflies again with small dimensional; 

add rhinestone or pearls in center of butter flies.

 Adhere with dimensional to the inner inside flap; so that you do not see it

when the card is closed!

Viola!
