Convention 2010....Check In Day!

We are off to Convention!

Today is "check-in" day.

Stampin' Up has announced that tonight we will be having a "Hippie" party!

Yes, we are dressing up! Bell Bottoms, Tye-Dye, the whole bit!

So to go along with this ocassion, Michael has created a

"Pyschedelic Frog" swap!

WOW!

The background is the Shaving Cream Technique.  The Frog's tummy is the Baby Wipe Tye-Dye Technique!

He used oval and circle punches to create the toadstool. Scrap pieces of Crumb Cake were used to hand-cut the stems! The frog?....check out our punch art section for details on how to create him!

The new Funky Four stamp set is where the stamped mushrooms come from and the little flower you see in the background comes from the Eastern Bloom set.

This sickly looking fellow was made with the Pick A Petal set!

It is a very basic card, but does the trick when you need a card fast!

Get Well cards are ones that I never seem to have on hand.

Getting a card with the bowl of soup, always makes the soup taste better!

Play On Words!

Isn't this too cute! Sophia is sooooo tanlented! I LOVE this card! A BIG thanks to Sophia for sharing her talents on her blog. This was definitely another one of those ideas that you just have to C.A.S.E.!

This play on words reminds me of one of the gals in my stamp group....you guessed it, Yvonne!

This card was made by Sophia Landry. She is such a talented lady....I am sure some of you have seen other cards she has made! She loves working with punches and shading is definitely her technique! I just thought this was so cute that I wanted to share it! Thank You Sophia!
