What a BEE day!

What a FUN day Saturday was! Thank you to everyone who attended my BEE-day party/workshop and a HUGE Thank You to Yvonne for all the hard work and effort you put into this event to make it special!

This is the cover of the booklet we made! Many of you have asked for the cutting instructions....sooooo...here it goes!

Body: 6" X 12" piece of card stock scored at 5 3/4" and 6 1/8".
Spine: Cut DSP 6" x 3" and score at 1 1/4" and 1 5/8".
Cut cardstock for scallop 2" X 6".
Inside: 10" X 10" cardstock scored both directions at 5". (Cut only one score line to center!)
Inside Layer: (7) pieces of cardstock cut 4" X 4" ( you could cut them 4 1/2" square for a smaller border)

**Remember the cut sections fold in first!

I know we all get caught up in COLOR! Trying to figure out what colors go together; sometimes we come up with fantastic color combinations and other times...well....they are not so fabulous! I like the saying "Less is more!".....These Black and White examples are just that! Look how nice they look! So next time you are struggling with a color combination.....go back to the basics!

Stampin' Up!'s June Project

So, you may have noticed that I have not posted in a few days.....I was on a camping trip with our Venture Crew! We went to the Bluegrass Festival in Pagosa Springs, Colorado! We had a fabulous time. Keeping up with 10 teenagers, really made me realize that my age is catching up to me! I wanted to share this project with you as S'mores is essential on any camping adventure! This makes a great little gift idea, no matter what your age. They always bring a smile and lets you know that you are well on your way to SUMMER FUN!
